I am knee-deep into my keto journey and am a Mama of two littles. So, as you can imagine, I am combing all corners of the internet to bring you the best family-friendly keto recipes the world has to offer. Because we need these to succeed!

Making your keto diet work for the whole family

I know that this whole keto thang isn’t going to work for us if it doesn’t work for the whole family. Granted, I still offer high carb foods like bananas and sweet potatoes to our toddler (our baby is too young to eat just yet) but I do not bake loaves and loaves of bread like I used to every weekend.

I have found that our toddler needs bright colorful foods to keep her interested too (I’m the same). And while she doesn’t like spicy food, she does apreciate big bold flavors.

This list of keto recipes were assembled with your whole family in mind. Everyone will enjoy these. Even the littles!

Alternative ingredients to be aware of

The trickiest part about keto imitations of conventional favorites is that they often call for alternative sweeteners, alternative flours (usually almond and coconut flour), an usual amount of mozzarella cheese and cream cheese, and some other odd ball ingredients like xanthum gum and banana extract.

But once you stock up your pantry with these keto favorites, you’ll be on the ready at anytime. I recommend starting with:

Almond flour (you can buy organic almond flour in 5 pound bags from Azure Standard for a great deal)

Coconut flour (readily available most places for not too much)

Cream cheese (buy in bulk from Costco or Sam’s Club)

Mozzarella cheese (you can buy a 6 lb loaf from Azure Standard for a great price)
